MGSU obtains status of a basic organization of the CIS member states for training Civil Engineering specialists

On April 18, 2024, the Committee on Economic Affairs held a regular meeting, during which several aspects of economic cooperation between the CIS member states were discussed. According to the information posted on the website of the CIS Executive Committee, the members addressed the issue of granting MGSU the status of the basic organization of the CIS member states for training Civil Engineering, as well as housing and communal services specialists.  

Within the framework of the meeting, data about the main goal macroeconomic development indicators of the CIS member states for 2023, prepared by CIS STAT in accordance with the Decision of the heads of the relevant state authorities (adopted on 19 November 2010), was presented.

The results of the analysis shall be used for arrangement and realization of events that are aimed at maintaining the macroeconomic stability, preserving positive economic growth rates, providing the financial sustainability of states and finance markets, as well as strengthening foreign trade relations.

During the meeting, the issue of granting the Federal state budget educational institution of higher education "National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering" (MGSU) the status of the basic organization of the CIS member states for basic training, professional retraining and advanced training in Civil Engineering and Housing and Communal Services was discussed.

MGSU Vice-rector Vera Galishnikova made a report and held a presentation on the topic “Basic organization of the CIS member states for basic training, professional retraining and advanced training in Civil Engineering and Housing and Communal Services” for the members of the Committee.

Due to its more than hundred-year history and broad experience in scientific and educational training of high-quality professionals in the above mentioned specialties, National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering possesses all the resources required for achieving the goals and performing the tasks belonging to the area of responsibility of a basic organization of the CIS member states.
